I was looking over the news today here in Manila and I read about our new President Benigno Aquino III, sometimes referred to as "Noynoy."

Many Filipinos had very high aspirations for Noynoy who became President of the Philippines only two months ago. It is important to remember that Philippines have many problems before Noynoy get here. We had Dictator, Movie stars and more all bad Presidents for Philippines.

According to the Philippine government, the office has been held by politicians who were inaugurated as President of the Philippines following the ratification of a constitution that explicitly declared the existence of the Philippines.

Leaders of the Philippines prior to the arrival of the Spaniards were called 'Datu', or tribal chief and monarchs in the Philippines

Leaders prior to the ratification of the 1899 constitution were called The Governor-General of the Philippines and that was the title of the government executive during the colonial period of the Philippines under Spain from 1565 until Spanish crown lost the country to the United States in 1898, The King of Spain was the head of state during the Spanish era (1565–1898)). The President of the United States was the head of state during the American era (1898–1946).

Presidents under the Commonwealth of the Philippines were under United States sovereignty, and that the president of the Second Republic is considered to have been running a puppet government of the Japanese during World War II although this puppet government of Jose P. Laurel during the Japanese occupation was officially considered independent by the Japanese. Thus the Philippines had three Presidents during that war - one de facto and two de jure, and two at the same time. Emilio Aguinaldo's government wasn't officially recognized by the Government of the Republic of the Philippines until the term of Diosdado Macapagal.

Below here is list of Philippines Presidents and their pictures. In my next blog I will tell yous why I think problem not belong to Noynoy. He haves time to fix things, but I think not long...

Mabuhay!

Our Philippines

I am just getting started here with my blog. I wants to be little different here with what i say and does. Many Filipino peoples lives all over the world and not gets to hear about der home to much.

So i thoughts I could post here what i reads in News and TV and Radio here in Philippines so everybody knows what go home in their home land. But i just not copy exact. I tell what news say and I also tell you really what happens, so you know all truth and not what news or government say to you.

Finally, I wills also later maybe opens a blog about videos of Philippines so Filipinos can see video and pictures of homeland too :) and, I will speak all English here and no Tagalog...well not much hehehe cause I know many Filipinos not speak native language cause they nots born here.

Also, check my other blogs. The links are to the left. Each of my blogs gives different view of home, of Philippines.

I hopes you enjoy my blog,
Mabuhay!
